Indian Coast Guard Recruitment

Indian Coast Guard or ICG recruiting candidates for Assistant Commandant posts for various fields. Therefore, the recruitment process will be through Preliminary Selection Board and Final Selection Board. So, the candidates will be shortlists on the basis of qualifying cut-off marks (for more than 60% marks). Also, the additional details for the recruitment process is as follow :

  • Age : General Duty – 01 Jul 1993 to 30 Jun 1997 ; General Duty (Pilot) and Pilot (CPL holder) – 01 Jul 1993 to 30 Jun 1999.(Both Dates Inclusive)
  • Education Qualification : General Duty – Bachelor Degree (min. 60% marks in all semesters) ; General Duty (Pilot) and Pilot (CPL holder) – Bachelor Degree (with 60% in Physics and Maths). Also, candidates should possess valid Commercial Pilot License for Pilot (CPL).
  • Last Date to Apply : 02 December 2017.

Also, this recruitment is for Short Service Commission (SSC) for Assistant Commandant. Therefore, there is a appointment of 08 years for select candidates ; which may be extendable to 10 years and further upto 1 years.

Indian Navy releases the notification for unmarried Male candidates for the 10+2 B.Tech Cadet Entry. Furthermore, all the eligibility conditions are below:

  • Age : Born b/w 02 Jan 1999 and 01 Jul 2001 (both dates inclusives).
  • Education Qualification : 10+2 or equivalent with 70% aggregate marks n Physics, Chemistry and Maths. Also, 50% marks in English either in 10th or 12th.
  • Who Can Apply : Candidates who will appear for JEE (Main) 2017 exam. This is because, call up for Service Selection Board (SSB) will be on the basis of JEE main Rank.
  • Last Date to Apply : 30 November 2017.
